We have toes, stubbing our toes is a relatively common occurrence, we know what it feels like and when we see others stub their toe, we have a good idea of how it feels for them because our physiology is much the same, central nervous system, brain activity spikes in response to the event, involuntary grimacing, etc.
Being purely subjective, not obervable like someone stubbing their toe, pain response, grimacing, etc, the idea of life after death lies within a different category of claims.
