I have been trying as best as I can as my knowledge and faith grows.
I struggle sometimes telling fibs out of reflex (I try to immediatly correct myself if I have found out ive told something untruthful). I used to lie and twist the truth often for my own benefit so this is something that has been difficult to unwind. I also struggle with keeping the Sabbath completely holy e.g. I may do my own pleasure or I may accidently begin doing a chore and then realise what day it is and stop.
If you transgress the law you must repent and in doing so you will be forgiven. God knows none of us are perfect. We live in a fallen world with all the temptations of the flesh. The only one who was able to completely uphold the law was Jesus. That is precisely why he suffered and died for us, so that the Father will see Jesus when he judges us so that we may be forgiven.
Those of us who are born again with the Holy Spirit will be slowly guided and molded to follow God's law perfectly in time. Either in this life or in the next.
