The paywall will be interesting. I have my doubts it will pull in much revenue. Fairfax have been giving their news away for more than a decade. That's a long habit for people to break. They won't be asked to pay unless they're reading a lot, rather than just picking the occasional story. But in my experience, most people simply shift to a different website when confronted by a paywall, or find a way around it. Not many subscribe.

They'll get a few subscribers. But I can't see it making much of a splash in revenue.
