CBA had a SPP to raise capital to purcahse BankWest.
CBA's EPS would of increased as the new earnings obtained from bankwest will more then cover the shares issed. CBA even announced that EPS is expected in increase from date of acquistion (for this to happen bankwest would of been purcahsed at a discount).
I remain bullish on CBA purchase of bankwest, but im also bearish on the bank due to their exposure to Centro.
If cba can get through Centro, then i believe CBA will have a much better upside to it then NAB.
