Marine Le Pen could have chased funding from pretty much any country in the world. USA, UK, Italy- anywhere at all. But instead she's gone to possibly the most corrupt banking system in the world to get her thirty pieces of silver.

I don't know the answer to your question. The big question however is why the French banks would not lend money to a party which speaks for France and the French and which has enormous traction across the length and breadth of the French Republic.
