    I recall seeing in the papers a week or so ago that BHP are to open an office in Kinshasa. BHP is fairly risk averse, so thats a good indication the outlook is good / the risk is reducing.

    Also I'd guess BHP aren't going there to start exploring from scratch - more likely to buy an established, rapidly growing miner with large resources???
