I'm slightly confused that you have a concern with the transition in Mali as you failed to elaborate I will only assume that as you have indicated (without inside knowledge) you believe that Kevin Joyce will walk as well, and with him would go all the Malian contacts within government departments and with the locals in the field, in this example I think you totally disregard the work that of Sidi Haidara the on the ground manager, considering that Mr Haidara would be more in tune with the locals, and no doubt spend a lot more time with them than Kevin Joyce would/does (an assumption on my part) Let me also highlight the recent Mining Indaba conference where the Mali government was trying to procure investments into Mali, also there may or may not be a slight delay in the granting of mining permits but these are ultimately submitted by the company, the work is done by an out sourced company and are in fact already in progress. The Malian government will not hinder (if it goes ahead) the progression of this resource to mining whether Mr Joyce is still part of BGS or not and ho hum step in
Mr McKay, who that you have shown no interest in but upon reading his credentials would more than be able to continue the progress to mine. It would be a total waste of time and effort trying to justify the selection of Michael Langdon, as you have no doubt a dislike of, for whatever reason and no ramblings of a faceless typer will convince you otherwise.

Well this is a "doosey" of a statement, firstly as it can only be an

"I don't know Michael Langford and have nothing personal against him. I just find his tweets to be unbecoming of a director. I perceive much in the content that could infer hindrance to progress for a fledgling miner. For example, on the back of Albemarle announcing potential M/A activity he writes negatively about the Talison expansion with unsubstantiated claims about operational costs and depth of extraction. I would rather my director engage positively with majors and not make negative statements publicly about other industry players which are unable to be confirmed. Risks are twofold, firstly isolationism, secondly credibility. The Albemarles, Ganfengs, Tianqis, and peers should be viewed as potential suitors and partners, not nemeses. Similarly, if management in my junior copper companies started criticizing Xstrata, Rio, BHP and its own peers, I would dump the stock in a heart beat. This is not anything personal. Well considering that anyone that purchased BGS shares after the Rights Issue would almost be already on the losing side of the ledger, those that brought in when it hit 52 week highs will be looking at total red in their portfolio but if for some unforeseen event happening and the share price actually increased, then I am sure that there is more than a small number that will benefit. every share holder will benefit from any increase in positive news flows that will see an appreciating share price.,

This is hilarious, April/May 2013 the share price was 2.4c (pre consolidation, today's equivalent 24c) for years later its 30c, September 2016 it peaked @52c and has been in a continual down trend since and all with great announcements thrown in, nothing to do with a 249D being served on the company and maybe, that is one of the reasons why it was served. And as you say, it has been lost in a plethora of positive news, and why would that be???
Seriously though, you may not think you have a personal vendetta against Michael Langdon but I am afraid your postings suggest otherwise.
You have a twitter account, you have access to Michael Langdon, why don't you ask him yourself or do you prefer to just remain an anonymous HotCopper poster, posting on here knowing full well that you will be getting responses that you have been, almost trying to incite a barrage of expletives for whatever reason. If you felt strongly enough you would of kept your holding and voted against the resolutions as every little vote counts "against" as it does "for" the proposals.
