Can a chartist please explain why the Dow can't rally another 1000 points if it has found support and appears to be trending up commencing 24th July 2002:

Each major fall we have experienced is followed by an almost equally major rise. Why is it people can't comprehend that simple fact and maintain such negative views on the market.
If one has the tenacity and bravery to have a long position in this market in these times and are selective they are sure to clean up.
