The US and the Dow are a 'loose cannon' at the moment while the Iraqi situation boils.It is not a clean cut decision to go into Iraq as in 1990/1 as the US has stuffed up the Bin Laden/Afghanistan episode and exposed its other agendas. The Europeans are especially reluctant[not including Blair].The Dow can oscillate violently for some time...great for the derives traders.
