Justin has stated quite a few times that the funds will do better in down markets than up.... and are intentionally slanted that way, to back his long held position that the markets are due for a correction.....
Stock picking comes into it but i'm a believer of ,....`up by the stairs ........and.........`Down by the elevator.......
Meaning you can make a great deal of cash quickly on down market ....as opposed to slowly, in an up market........as the last few days would testify to......If you time it right.........
Market neutral have a position in my portfolio .........but Watermark have failed of late.....more of a `market negative (Short ) to suit the long held conviction of a downturn coming.......
Next round of NTA's will be interesting........Will see if its all been worth it.......
And was today just a dead pussy...........before further negative U.S. results.........
