Yes I think they should be putting some numbers out there to get this out of the way. The challenge of starting this mine is big enough without this encumbrance hanging over their heads. It would be beneficial for the company IMO to get this out of the way before they release the FS.
I'm not sure if a token offer is the right way to go. Without a settlement I can't see MZN backing down before the trial if there is a risk they can then be pursued for damages. Do you think if MZN withdrew the day before the trial and took their medicine, ie ended up paying KDR's costs, the court costs and Martin Bennett's costs, KDR would just say well no hard feelings, good luck with your future endeavours? I think if KDR corner the cat, it is likely to fight. It will be interesting to see what the share price does if we ever see a day when they are sitting in that court room on day one of a trial. Esh
