My attack was aimed at this character, so I will post where it belongs:
The market is not smart at all.
PDN closed down the mine because they don’t expect the price to go much above $45 this year, NOT because they are not expecting the spot price to increase at all. How silly are you? They will probably not re-open until the spot price is above $45 for a considerable period of time, so it makes sense to shut it down in case this does not happen soon.
The current price of 50 cents would be justified if the spot price was heading to $25 in 6 months. I can easily see a scenario where the spot price is $45 in 6months and then we will see how smart the market is then, OK?
Then there will be no choice but for the price of PDN to easily double and then some from this silly level of 50 cents.
