SLR SP took a hit, not because they wanted to take over St Barbara's Leonora Assets, but more as a reason why - and then putting SZ on hold/investment phase reinforced that. Add in that the interest rate climate is a significant drag on gold miners, even though POG has proved resilient. SLR share price has seen a perfect storm. The flip side is that if they could prove up their mine life, turn SZ around, and then see the fed signal a pivot on interest rates - they will fly.
