    Hi Rose. I think you might be inadvertently comparing apples with oranges . Newcrest is our largest gold miner and Silver lake is a mid tier. As such Newcrest will be less risky and volatile. The upside to a mid tier is higher returns if things go to plan. I’m a relative newbie myself but this is my understanding. All the best on your investments.
