I have been a share holder since before Prominent Hill. I am an Ex WMC Geologist OD and from my perspective you want money to be put in the ground and not into Chardonnay - Thus I have provided my entitlement plus some - the value is in the company having the money to spend ( shorters and day traders turn off here). I trust management with my money ( this does not mean that they will hit economic Gold or Copper ). I hold other mining stocks - but this decision was an easy one for me, having said that I make my money on Healthcare and only use surplus to speculate. For those who have not kicked or licked rocks - one discovery every 10 years is very good and another prominent hill would see a share price closer to 3 - 5 $. If they had a bhpb budget they would tick the box every 5 years or so - they know their stuff - and Prominent Hill was difficult to find.
