Knowledge and experience doesn't dissipate, but you would have to judge him by his performance at AGM's. But your point is taken, age is an influencing barrier to sound decision making does his intellect seem to have deteriorated over the years, is he coherent, does he shows signs of impairment, does he overestimate or underestimate progress? All factors that can contribute to success or failure.
