You clearly do not understand the Alliance!

"The Intel® IoT Solutions Alliance program offers four membership tiers with increasing benefits. The General membership level is available by application. The other levels are invitation-only, based on ecosystem alignment, business objectives, and technology advancement"

Companies that have tech that Intel is interested in (adopts or co-sells) are 'invited' and given gold, platinum memberships etc.

General members - such as Xpe - have to apply and pay for the privilege.

Intel does not 'market' 'general' members tech - other than provide them with their paid annual subscription spot on the Alliance Register. Intel certainly does not sell XPE tech!
