Based on industry standards:
All FF's bulk inventory (furniture, bed, couches etc) are purchased through Agents locally and in China. They are shipped as a single PO (ie 1 product per container) from factory in PRC direct to store door - not through a DC for unpack, batch and dispatch. There is no "last mile" locally for these products.
Accessories, spares and consumables are boxed in a Container Freight Station in PRC and distributed through a 3PL DC locally. Nothing GSW could add to this process.
FF is not a loss for GSW.
The fact that the CEO of a company that has agreements signed with Amazon, NA Williams and Yum is not across the loss of a trial in AU does not concern me.
To support this, per the IPO, 17/18 FY revenue projections, 15% was to be made up of local (Australian) transactions - 85% will be international.
