was looking at indophil which has a large stake in a huge project(with xstrata) and have won awards around the world for their social and environmental work around the site. their reward is that the church and npa(commies)want it shut down. was attacked last week.
laf's problems occurred because they had a minor spill that killed 5kg of fish. since then its all bashing from the church and greenpeace.
just got back from the pines and for a country that was a leading asian country 20-25yrs ago it has gone backwards ever since. dont invest in mining in the pines.
as they say-if you want to make a small fortune in the pines,start with a large one.
