I wouldn't go too much on rocket man so launchings. The last one he had barely moved gold, and it was the biggest test yet.

Very interesting close last night on gold. I think there is still quite a bit of uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. GDP was an outstanding 3%. Though we will await for the revision.

As Autosime said, gold tends to do opposite of what people think. Gold is in a race right now. If we start seeing a move up on inflation then I suspect gold will be moving up. somehow though I don't see inflation being too high in the short term.

Overall I think Friday night saw a reasonable about of support for gold. Who wouldn't buy the metal now anyways, it's down almost $100 from its highs this year so how much more could it go down? Who knows but I am still bullish on gold prices going into Christmas. But as a perma bull, I always only see the upside...
