Someone said here that 42% of the USA populace was on welfare , I also read on one of these threads that AUS was 52%..
and that a family on $60,000 pa with welfare support payments here virtually paid no tax....
Only 12 months for welfare recipients in the USA whilst here it is eternal till death , UK have a graded system bases upon time frames and previous employment .
Maybe here we could have a graduate payment as well , the idea of the dole is for a temporary stop gap and not meant for
primary existence .
If we were to stop all other welfare payment , maybe the tax rate would fall creating employment and a wake up call for those that have a sense of entitlement to actually earn their own crust...
