    Rio Tinto's chief scientist says Hydrogen won't be used as an energy carrier in the near future, as it could exacerbate global warming. Hydrogen, as we know leaks through pipes. 1% a day would be lost to atmosphere while Hydrogen has 16 times greater effect than CO2.
