Not everyone.....I am telling you it can be done.
It is obvious that most on here will tell you how it can’t be done, because they do not know how its done. In fact, they are very good at losing money, and in that respect they are very useful. Remember, those that teach do so because they can't really do it in the real world.

The first rule is....Don't waste your time working for somone else...that is the quickest way poverty!

The sooner you start...the sooner you will learn those life lessons anyway. Don't worry about that. Just make a start (don't wait a decade). It makes no sense to wait...we only live so long and time is short enough as it is. Having youth on your side is a great advantage because it means you can take greater risks...therefore have a greater potentially for greater wealth.

Learn about finance. Understand ways of getting cheap money....Learn to think outside the square...learn to analyse things, pick up skills in valuation.....don't take shortcuts but stick to the fundamentals...learn about taxation as it makes a big difference to your bottom line. There is a lot more to trading than looking at a screen and pressing a few buttons now and again.

Don't worry about what instruments you use ie CFDs, shorting, options etc etc...it is more important to pick market directions and quality good value stocks, than what instruments you are using. Do what your comfortable with because we all develop our own styles.

Don't listen to those left wing thinking socialists who belittle trading, saying things like , get a real job....
Trading to them is something you do to whittle away the hours before you go to the footy or the pub. Trading is a real job....very much so. All our modern day capitalistic system is built on the foundation of trading. How do they think business runs? They have no idea. All business is based on buying at one price and selling at another and the profit in between is your income. Very simple really.
