Bought 3 stocks in 1985. WPL, MIM and ERA. I trade, but i have kept the WPL as a talisman. Part of the buy was for some for my father-in-law to repay a debt. He got grumpy and told me I paid too much for them... 80c. Cracks me up (he expected 79c) and I always ask him how his WPL is going.. he's still got them. The WPL experience made me go looking for elephants. One elephant a year was the target. The boom gave me 4 elephants one year. Without the WPL experience I would not have gone elephant hunting
