A. Because unless you've been hiding under a rock you will know that retail trading conditions in China have been tough in the last six months and so I put it to you that the sellers have likely been struggling a bit financially and took the opportunity to get out.
The same challenging market conditions have presented SBB with a great opportunity to assume ownership and control of more stores and increase their net margins in the process. A good strategy for the LT IMO.
