ironfist, you may want to read "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator: by Edwin Lefevre (Amazon etc has it). Its the quasi-autobiography of Jesse Livermore, the most famous trader of the 1920's bull market. You will learn more from it than 10 years of hotcopper discussion. If you havent made yourself a better and happier trader after reading it, read it again. I have been in the market for about 15 years both professionally and personally and read it every year for a refresher. Its an easy and relaxed read but challenging to the core.
Dont look for approval on these boards - people are just too random and self interested. I have found them a complete cesspit of emotion and rarely post any more. Its fun seeing what the traders are yapping about though. t4p seems like he knows a fair bit and is humble enough to be really in the game for size. Most of the really good traders I know who run portfolios in the bazillions are down to earth and regularly acknowledge they dont know it all.
