You're not suggesting the non Jewish peoples of Israel govern Israel are you? The UN can only address the Israeli government and that's why you get so many resolutions on mostly humanitarian grounds.

The thrust of my opening post was to highlight that it would be interesting to see if both the Egyptian and Israeli (first time ever) resolutions will go through, or if both will flop...or one will and the other will not.
The Egyptians are on about the Palestinian children....the Israelis are on about their own kids.......no one is on about the Egyptians allowing their territory to be used for the tunelling and funneling of weapons despite the "peace agreement" with Israel.
In other words their blind eyes see only Israeli injustices....but no one elses.....especially not their own.
A resolution about the plight of Egyptian children would be in order.........as would resolutions about their inhibition of democracy.........
But that would mean cleaning up their own back yard.......so what could be better than deflecting the attention off themselves......???
Sponsoring anti Israel resolutions which focus on Palestinian children......only.
