It seems that only in Australia that a feast was had by the institutions as on the DAX and Nasdaq the sp is around $1.15 AUD which is about right for these uncertain times. Most shareholders that aren't full time traders did not even know that this was happening and like myself only found out at the end of the day, so it was not small shareholders panicing and selling. It will be interesting to look back at yesterdays trading disclosures for the 5% + holders when they are published to see who made all of the profits, as if we don't know already.
Until LYC actually produce the product it is still a spec stock so this is par for the course. There will be no magic solution from the EU summit in a few days, so if you want to hold then expect more wild oscillations until the LAMP is in production. Hopefully LYC will turn into the multi-bagger that we would all like, but as with life there are no guarantees, big brass ones are needed for this specci.
