chocbloc, if the management say the JV is being positively progressed, then it is being positively progressed. Delays are routine in these kinds of large deals.
On the court case, management did not need to inform the market of any prior developments which occurred between the court case and the settlement as it was engaged in a legal battle, and it could of had an impact on the case.
If you were an MD when would you have released that info if you could not have released it prior to settlement?
