I think it's a bit arrogant for company directors to say they don't care what day traders or short to medium term investors do. A small listed company needs absolutely everyone they can get in order to get the share price up which attracts the big guys with the real money. At the end of the day a company with a higher share price is better off than one that's sitting in the doldrums. Do you think FMG or SFR early on didn't worry about the traders or small investors? I don't think so.
