It wouldn't make any difference to your or my position so it's not something to get upset about. When the senate results and the results are released, the market will price this stock accordingly. If it's bad news it'll just drop less than it would have if it had $23 by today. If it should be priced higher then it'll increase substantially more. The daily fluctuations should only concern day traders.
Fair comment, except for the breach of trust that may have occurred. If misbehaviour has gone on, to someone's short term benefit, then I want someone's head to roll simply as a matter of principle.
