Pfffft that would be really, really stupid (putting your life savings into a spec stock - any decent advisor would tell you NOT to do that), I'm just here short term to sell out at $1.30 with enough profit to pay cash for a new car.

Depends on the advice, I wouldn't consider paying to be told to "buy low and sell high" professional advice.
