One diamond drillhole can be marked up, logged, cut, and sampled in half a day or less.
The delay with ALL assays is in the sample prep: crushing, splitting and milling.
As you said, there would be a big cue at the lab. If AVB could set up their own sample prep facilities then the turnaround would be significantly increased.
One would think with 50,000m+ drilling this could easily be justified.
