Yes 99% of the sentient world knows tariffs are a crap idea in the long run. Not rocket science. But no matter what you think of the man (personally I think he's a knob) you have to give credit where due. Who else has had the balls to stand up to the blatant and continued theft of China of all things IP? In fact who has had the balls to stand up to them on anything period in the last decade? All power to the man if he gets meaningful concessions and I for one am happy to wear short term pain pursuant to that end.
