Make no mistake the tariffs ARE hurting China and one of the major sticking points is Chinese protection of American/Western IP something with potential for a massive generational or even millennial impact especially for tech/fintech investors. Agree completely, the tariffs are just a tool Trump (or even more broadly an increasingly bipartisan plan) to force China to make structural, not cosmetic reforms.
