Have had the exact same experience as the OP, difference being I understood that being vaccinated didn’t stop me acquiring covid, that it would lower the severity, which it did significantly, barely a mild cold and worst of it over within 3 days. My teenage son had exactly the same experience, although he did completely recover a tad quicker. Very thankful that were vaccinated beforehand, saw a friend end up in hospital with what he described as feeling like he was going to have a heart attack, he’s mid 40’s and as fit as a mallee bull. He’s all good now but it took him a few weeks to get back to his daily routine. He’s in that top 5% of in terms of fitness, unvaccinated, and it knocked him for six.

Well i'm late 50s unvaccinated with 2 comorbidities and i have had worse hangovers from 2 schooners. Meanwhile i'm watching my sons double jabbed mates going down hard with it. Go figure! I did however take all the vitamins suggested..
