Alex Cowie does tend to recommend stocks when resources are defined and production is in the horizon. Most 80-90% listed exploration companies never get of the ground and one can easily lose all of your investment.
Hence his recomendations take a large amount of the risk away.
He also speaks to management on all his recomendations and most of the time visits the site. Even those mines in faraway places.
