I'm sure you are aware HK is part of china and has been since 1997. Even more so since the "one country, two systems" has been phased out. Putting that aside, yes, APAC has previously been a blessing, but that only extends as far as their goals are aligned with other shareholders. If they are the obstacle to a buyback then they are ceasing to be the solution, and are becoming a problem. IMO, Old Peak's selling is just as much of a problem, they seem happy to keep MLX capped around 30c if it let's them shift 5m shares a quarter.
