Because APAC can (and clearly does) have different agenda to ordinary shareholders. They don't care about the SP on a day-to-day because they basically require a liquidity event to exit anyway. They are unlikely to be aligned in timeframes or goals for SP accretion or return of capital. I am not saying they haven't managed MLX well but you are giving them a lot of credit when a lot of the reason MLX is in the position it is in is because tin went from $13k to $50k and then settled around $25k.
