BTW does anyone have an idea about the resource potential of offshore Bangka?
Judging by Google Earth it's all restricted to a relatively small area on the "beach of a thousand rafts".
PT Timah claims 280kt of reserves (within 466kt of resources) offshore for 2021, but that's only three years' worth of illegal mining.
Could there be a boom-bust scenario similar to the Wa state in the offing, even without export ban?
