With time on the clock almost up, it will be an interesting couple of days.
Westside put out a message to say come and make an offer, as well as indicating there were other parties interested. Was it a bluff?
Are LNG / Petro hanging back to see if any another suitor comes forward before they make their bid?
If no one else comes forward, I think we will see LNG /Petro lob in another low ball bid. (60c). Surely they won't simply turn around and say 'no, not interested'.
The question will be if the board have already indicated a bid would need to be over $x and LNG come in lower, will they simply tell them to go away. Would they need to announce the new offer to the market?
So many questions!
Fortunately, not long to wait until the Westside Story unfolds.
