It's called consolidation. Some think of it as share price 'digesting' the rapid gains. This is a bullish chart pattern. Bulkowski says a high, tight, flag is the best performing chart pattern. It strongly suggest another up move, the size of the one being 'digested', is coming. Price rising above the high of the 'flag pole' is a buy signal. Price breaking out above the May 7th high is another buy signal. I plan on taking them both.
