I day trade for a living but I'm investing in LYC in my retirement account. I'm waiting for $2 simply because I see nothing that has changed since The Fear has set in. LYC is once again at the mercy of political winds in a backward country. The same Fear that nearly killed it is now eating away at its guts. There is nothing rational about fear so good fundamentals mean little. Round numbers, like $2, have psychological significance so odds are the bears can take price there. If it happens, I will add to my position. To have a world class company eviscerated by ignorance and fear is not in the best interest of the Malaysian people who, after incidents like Malaysian air flight 370, can use a break in the court of public opinion. So clearly they are not ready for prime time. On the plus side, unless the Lynas board is suicidal, they will build Lamp 2 elsewhere.
