It cost Mitsubishi around US$100m to build a PDF for 194m3 radioactive waste that will need to be monitored for the next 300 years.
The LAMP will generate around 824,000m3 over a 10 year period. Pretty sure that’s at phase 1 rates so potentially double that.
I would surmise the financial burden would cripple the company.
It’s condisoil or bust IMO.
