As I have had Solar for over 20 years I have no idea of the cost of hot water and electricity for a household. Assuming this will continue to escalate and cost of BlueGen will reduce as production and sales increase - I don't think it is useful to base calculations on current price comparisons. I do worry about anything that governments can control, as they usually suck people in with price reductions - then once a lot of people are in - up goes the price - e. g. gas fuel for cars in Qld.
