The bright point is that in a crash it is possible that there MIGHT be a huge flight of capital to Gold rather than US treasuries and that would result in a huge rebound for Gold stocks, Gold stocks rebounded hard in the early 1930's after the crash. All depends on the reason for the crash, I find the DOW at 14000 ridiculous, only there because of Bens money printing. One thing I can promise, if you think you will see it coming, or will be able to get out as its crashing, you won't.
