We can all agree the announcement was decent and that there was decent end of day support. If the general market including SYR had been in better shape, the initial bids on opening would have been stronger, which would have triggered more buying up to the $1 level.
It is unfortunate that the day started so flat which made sure that support wasn't triggered early enough. I am sure there are better days ahead including during the lead ups to the next expected announcement. This stock has done much better on days of no announcement!
