For some reason i feel some positives in announcement .
-fy guidance still low ebitda growth which should result in fy eps being greater than div.
-cost savings regarding remediation and maintenance of tls network $1b over 5 years.
-nbn rental of tls infrastructure expected to grow to 1b by 2020 on nbn completion of roll out inflation linked.Currently $213m 1h .
-regarding their growth businesses,combined 'only losing' $86m for 1h ,i thought that was a low figure considering the potential of nas,ehealth and smarthome.ie nas revenue up,nas margin up taking into account nas revenue $1.5b 1h and sector not that bad imo.
-imo i got the feeling the management r doing a good job in connectivity etc,even the new businesses as they r not only starting these businesses from scratch the business models r relatively new or new.

The strong feeling i got was tls is at the leading edge of developing technology and relatively new businesses such as nas,ehealth,smarthome.

What seemed obviously missing was a division of tls which holds established new technology businesses that can take a competitive advantage of tls's impressive network and r in profit now.eg it was suggested yesterday seven west buy into apn to diversify into new profitable businesses,of course,just like tls should buy apn or oml digital advertising etc etc etc etc.

This is the thing,.. dividend paid out to be topped-up from internal cash holdings,... 0.70 Ct per share out of pocket.

This, of course, can't go on forever, not for a dividend stock.
