Sounds like management are trying to get away with a fluffy type of announcement again and the ASX has refused to comply.

I think it is more likely the ASX is being pedantic and nit-picky for all the wrong reasons as usual. It seems its fine if you are a penny-dreadful shell to make veiled references to unlikely smokey dopey potential future relationships in your announcements to make the market wet itself, but when you have bonafide real information to portray, you are prevented from announcing. The whole system is frankly a joke and needs to be over-hauled badly.
