Its kind hard working out how FZO product works, not being a user and going off announcements.
It does require hardware though and is far from perfect. WGL could have the superior product here. Where FZO is streets ahead is the distribution model. Signing schools up that mandate the use of their product to families and collaborations with telco companies that market the product for them.
